As a B52 Tailgunner with combat missions over Viet Nam and Iraq I did all I could to draw the spotlight on me in order to advance in rank. I discovered what it means to be human in the dying and death of my father, as I couldn't stop the process. With a heart of stone changed to a heart of flesh I now spend my efforts on helping or seeking assistance for others, placing the spotlight on those in need so others can see more clearly where THEY can help.
